And here, I'm just being silly. This photo was taking facing the opposite direction from the Hôtel des Invalides.

The road behind me goes over a really cool bridge (also with lots of shining gold), named Pont Alexandre III (pont means bridge). It was built for the Universal Exposition in 1900.
